Scarlett today in Glasgow (Scotland) on the first day on set of her upcoming project 'Under The Skin', she's got quite a different look from what we're used to!
In the movie she plays Laura, you can read about her character here, she recently talked about it on an interview:
What are your upcoming projects?
"I just finished shooting 'The Avengers', latest Marvel producton (to be released in 2012). In a few weeks I will be shooting in Scotland a sci-fi thriller directed by Jonathan Glazer, 'Under the Skin'. The plot seems a bit difficult to explain. In fact when you read the script it can be ridiculous. It focuses on an alien who adopts the appearance of a woman and snares human prey to feed her species. Until, at some point, the alien experiments an empathic behaviour that makes her rethink her opinion on human beings."
And you play...
"The Alien"
A character that has nothing to do with the ones you usually play. We won't see you between two men this time...
"For sure. It's such a different role. This time I'm going to be all by myself in the Scottish Highlands. For me it's so interesting to experiment this kind of cinematographic awakening."
