Scarlett will direct her first movie!
Is an adaptation of Truman Capote lost work 'Summer Crossing'.
The novel - which was written in 1943 but published posthumously in 2005 - Follows a 18-year-old girl in post-World-War II New York as she breaks free of the shackles of her well-to-do family and discovers her own identity and sexuality, and embarks on a torrid adventure with a valet, marries him and gets pregnant.
Playwright Tristine Skyler will write the screenplay and it will be produced by Oscar winner Barry Skipings.
Previously Scarl made her first steps as a director with the shortfilm "These Vagabond Shoes".
And a videoclip of her best friend, singer and songwriter Jessie Baylin - out next month. When she presented her shortfilm in Los Angeles film festival, she said:
"It was very exciting to be behind the camera. I hope this leads me to direct a feature film. I it's something that I've always wanted to do ever since I was probably 12 years old - it was very exciting for me to sample it."
So our girl will soon fulfill a dream! I liked her shortfilm a lot and I already want to know who she will cast for the roles in the movie and new things about this project!
