'The Taste Of Light And Song'
Written by Ruairidh Anderson

Bakers, brewers, butchers, cooks
Each market overflows
An open hand or softened look
Joys I've never ever owned

Drink in the taste of light and song,
Forget about the past and forgive before its wrongs
Too long have I cried out for calm
And yet I've found my peace until the early touch of dawn

Could write the book on countless ill
In the heaviest rains and deepest snow
And though my face may blend to mist
My echo rolls from soul to soul

But let not these cares infest the day
Tomorrow's yet to call for us
Let's toast a birth with favoured kings
And join in England's voice

Drink in the taste of light and song
Forget about the past and forgive before it's wrongs
Too long have I cried out for calm
And yet I've found my peace until the early touch of dawn
